August 19, 2017

Call recording is far more than just quality assurance; from training and sales, to compliance and customer service, a robust call recording system is a sign of a modern and mindful enterprise. So, with the weekend upon us, there’s no better time than the present to take a look back at the week that was in call recording news: Time for the Week in Review!

Customer engagement analytics firm CallMiner announced multi-language support to provide its speech analytics services around the world. CallMiner platforms are available in 30 different languages – including dialects – and a number of languages with full PCI-compliance, which means the redaction of sensitive information like ID numbers or addresses. “Companies must compete in a globally-connected and multilingual world, and we’re offering a wide range of languages to support our growing base of worldwide clients,” said CallMiner Founder and CTO, Jeff Gallino. “Unlike other competitive offerings, we certify languages to ensure they are adequate for use in speech analytics and include native capabilities such as PCI redaction, allowing us to deliver a global, secure speech analytics offering.” Complete coverage is HERE.

This week, Verint unveiled Verint Recording for Public Safety, an omnichannel recording solution more than capable of keeping up with the digital age. The call recording solutions brings voice, video, PC screens, geographic information systems (GIS), images and text together to provide comprehensive archiving, analytics and quality management – all through one platform. “As the nature of public safety pivots from a more traditional, reactive approach to one that is more proactive and preventative, Verint is responding by delivering innovative technology solutions that help public safety organizations become more agile,” says Kristyn Emenecker, global vice president, product strategy, Verint. All the details are HERE.

Also in the news, DYL introduced the full integration of the Vertafore CRM to aid agents in their day to day operations.  This new integration will allow insurance agents to seamlessly transfer records between their phone system and Vertafore. "Our integration with Vertafore will streamline operations for thousands of insurance agents across the country. We realize the importance of automation in the sales process---now we're bringing that automation to agency management, as well," said co-founder Matt Vandervort.  TMC’s Alicia Young has everything you need to know HERE.
