Cebod Telecom Adds SMS and Combo Fax to its PBX

October 28, 2016

The popularity of hosted PBX solutions is being driven by many of the features service providers make available to their customers. Small and medium-size businesses (SMBs) as well as large enterprises can access these features equally with price points the vast majority of companies can afford. Therefore, the addition of two more features by Cebod Telecom should not come as a surprise, because the company currently has 40+ options. The addition of SMS and combo fax will, according to the company, make its PBX features smarter.

Cebod Telecom provides Internet-based telephony solutions that have been designed to address the communications needs of global businesses that operate 24/7 by leveraging the flexibility and agility cloud technology offers. The company has created a cloud-based phone system that allows organizations to configure their own communications system by offering advanced VoIP features such as fax, auto attendant, voicemail to email, call recording, call queue, call waiting, shared lines and many others.

The combo fax is a combination of e-Fax and the traditional version of the fax. What this means for users is, they'll have the option of sending and receiving any fax through an email or a hard copy over a fax machine. The service can be delivered with a dedicated fax line, existing phone lines or a virtual phone system from Cebod Telecom with a traditional fax machine attached to an adaptor.

The SMS service will let users send and receive messages on any phone number from both personal and business contact lists, including multiple groups, departments and individuals. Messages can also be forwarded to an email, URL and another phone number. The SMS is going to be offered as part of Cebod's all-inclusive premium PBX phone service features with every phone plan.

Users can block unwanted texts and spam, and messages that are sent to a business number don't share personal numbers when they are answered on mobile phones. The SMS feature will give users an unlimited outbound and inbound text messages, and it can be used on toll-free and local phone numbers.

As part of the Cebod Telecom Cloud Business Phone System customers receive automatic upgrades to eliminate PBX obsolescence, and the system is managed and maintained by the company to ensure the highest possible uptime.

With smartphones now on virtually every employee's hand, organizations that don't use the technology as part of their communications solutions are missing an opportunity to make their entire workforce more productive. The multiple features Cebod Telecom offers, along with the new SMS and combo fax, are just two of many reasons to make the change.
