Call Recording Week in Review: Calabrio, TeleWare, TCN

Welcome to the latest version of Call Recording Week in Review where we highlight all the biggest headlines from this past week in the Call Recording space.

This biggest headline this week can from global investment firm KKR today which announced plans to buy Calabrio for an undisclosed sum.

The workforce optimization company would be able to leverage this acquisition to scale its offering to the next level.

“Calabrio has become one of the fastest-growing, quality companies in workforce optimization and customer engagement,” said John Park, director at KKR and a member of KKR’s technology team. “With our partnership, we hope to accelerate the company’s growth even further as the world continues to move toward a customer engagement model through omnichannel integration.”

Calabrio made headlines again this week when it was recognized as a high performer in the latest Forrester Wave report.

The recognition was give to the customers because of its offerings ability to provide customers with a, “well-functioning suite of workforce management tools” And says Calabrio is, “among the best in the market for its top scores in customer service, product performance and company vision for the future.”

 “It has been our vision from day one to build the best solution while exceeding customer expectations for service and support.  We believe this recognition from Forrester demonstrates that our continued investment in a customer-driven product roadmap,” said Tom Goodmanson, the president and CEO of Calabrio.

In partnership news this week, TeleWare and Linx Networks announced they would be working together to address compliance challenges in the market. Recording solutions from TeleWare will be integrated with Linx Networks' banking and financial IT services now and offers companies the ability to make and receive calls on their mobile devices that are fully compliant.

Also this week, TCN and InterProse Corporation said they are partnering to combine their solutions and increase the recovery rates of account receivables as well as streamline management of payments with accurate reporting.
